INVITATIONAL
ITINERARY –April 5- 6, 2008
Saturday,

6:00
a.m.
Arrive at PHS Load Bus. Jessie
McKee will take attendance.

on the bus. Get stamped, check
in.
Unload
stuff
from the bus to the Homeroom. There
is no food or beverage
allowed in the
homeroom.
Unload, unpack and set up equipment IN BAND ROOM. Everyone
should make sure everything is set for performance- costumes need to be
hung
on correct rack, etc. Check out
performance area. Get something to
eat.
10:30 a.m.
Ladies should start doing hair and Band should get
dressed.
11:30 a.m.
Singer/Dancers should start getting dressed and ready.
Band should start
tuning instruments.
11:50
a.m.
Everyone should be dressed and ready.
Meet in homeroom for
last
minute
details.
Show
Choir report for warm-ups in homeroom.
12:25 p.m.
Warm-ups.
12:50
p.m.
Move to hallway. We will grab
our stuff and move to stage left. We
enter the stage with all equipment from stage left.
1:00
p.m.
Pizazz Performance.
Soloists should set
equipment, then check mics/stands- take mic on and off the stand.
Move all equipment off stage right, and
back to our spot in the BAND ROOM. (There
is no videotaping during performances)
1:25
p.m.
Pizazz reports for critique.
1:50
p.m.
Return to homeroom for a few general comments.
Change and hang up your clothes.
Everyone is free to go eat and watch other groups.
Remember- you are representing
Parkview at all times- be on your best behavior!
Please watch your comments about other groups.
5:15
p.m.
Everyone will gather in the gym to watch
Altoona
“Brass Rails”
perform.
5:40
p.m.
Awards Presentation. Tim
Knutson, Ashley Jess, Jessie McKee and Mike Warner will report to front of stage
in costumes to receive awards.
Listen to announcement
of Six Finalists, receive participation plaques, etc.
Report
back to homeroom, load equipment, pack and clean-up.
Anna Hanson, Katie Schwarz and
Michelle Sharp will make
sure room is clean.
After putting clothes in boxes, all men should report to the BAND ROOM to
load the trailer. Ray Varo,
Nolan Crane and Seth Hanson are responsible to make sure all equipment is
loaded. Girls should load the bus.
When we are finished loading the trailer, we will finish loading the bus.
6:30 p.m.
Load bus. Depart for hotel.
Make sure instruments are unloaded
from the
trailer.
If
we make it into finals, our itinerary would look like this:
6:00
p.m.
Recover from announcement and save voices.
Report back to
Homeroom for
details on finals performance.
Depending
on when we get picked for finals,
everyone will
dressed and ready to
do the show again in finals.
6:45 – 8:50 p.m.
Perform in finals. After our
performance, we will hang
clothes, pack and load
trailer. Then you may go eat
and watch the remaining groups.
9:15 p.m.
Altoona
“Locomotion”
performs.
9:40 p.m.
Announcement of placement in finals and other specialty
awards.
10:00 p.m.
Report back to Homeroom, gather stuff.
Finish
loading trailer. Load bus.
10:30 p.m.
Depart for Hotel. We will be
staying at the AmericInn

meet for our senior goodbyes –

Breakfast.

Check out of rooms, load bus. Depart
for Orfordville.
2:30 p.m.
Arrive
in Orfordville. Unload trailer, go
home and collapse. Ray Varo,
Nolan
Crane
and Seth Hanson are responsible
to make
sure all equipment is loaded.
Reminder:
There are to be NO girls in boys rooms and NO boys in girls rooms.
Use the common areas to visit.
THERE WILL NOT BE
REHEARSAL SUNDAY NIGHT!
